DJ Sanaris of Pulse Groovz

Providing DJ/MC services for public and private events throughout Key West.

Sometimes called “The Happiest DJ” or “MR. ENERGY”, DJ Sanaris is originally just Sanaris Peacock from Cordele, GA, “The Watermelon Capital of the World!” (Really, look it up) Sanaris moved to Key West to start his final tour of duty with the Navy in December of 2003 and has made it his home with his wife Vikki ever since.

Sanaris started out as a part time DJ at Sloppy Joe’s Bar while with the Navy in 2005. Sanaris went on to host events like their annual Fantasy Fest Toga Parties for over a decade and he has hosted Sloppys New Year’s Eve Dropping of the Conch Shell every year since 2005-06.

After the Navy, a few years with the TSA, and a Bachelor’s Degree in CIS from St. Leo University, Sanaris went full time as a DJ. He has worked with longtime Key West Wedding Entertainment Company, SoundWave KW, since 2014. Sanaris is well liked in the Key West Wedding community, as he has hosted over 600+ weddings over multiple wedding venues in Key West. A reception of 25 or 100+, Sanaris will make sure you have a good time no matter what.

DJ Sanaris also stays busy in the clubs, bars, and the community as he likes to play music for all. Top 40, Hip Hop, Pop, Reggae, Latin, EDM, Rock, 70’s 80’s, 90’s and whatever else gets the crowd moving. Sanaris is the resident DJ at Key West local favorites, Mary Ellen’s, General Horseplay, and Havana Cabana. You can also catch him around Key West at spots like Dante’s, The Garden of Eden, Tiki House, and more. If there is fun being had, DJ Sanaris is probably running the show.

In the community, Sanaris helps host the weekly World Famous Vibrator Race at Mary Ellen’s Bar that has raised over $1,000,000 for charities in Monroe County since October of 2017. Sanaris has also been trusted in the community in providing entertainment for local school events for FKCC, Key West High School, Sigsbee Middle School, and May Sands Montessori.
